  What is The Process referred to?  

How to use the service:

1. Contact us with your preferred service, your email address and we will start the process by emailing a template of questions, with supporting references, and a confirmed quote of the cost.

2. Send back your responses, when you are ready. Feel free to engage your consultant during the process to clarify anything, or for support.

3. We will review, and email any further questions that we have.

4. Your documents and model are created for your review.

5. When you are satisfied, the documents are finalised and sent to you.

6. Payment is due on completion of the documents to your satisfaction.

 

Underlying all the services is a planning process that is based on a value based methodology; which a way of thinking about business that creates the potential for you to unlock new sources of value, or understand where your value is and how to maximise it.

It creates a model of thinking whereby the business is focused on the generators of value in the business using a set of tools, models and insights. The process used guides you through thinking about the Strategy, the Barriers to Entry or Competitive Advantages, the Stakeholders, the Resources and Processes, the Risks and ultimately the Business case. All of this gives a value based on the key drivers identified.


The model created is then something that you will continually drive you by thinking through this as the business and the environment change. The value based approach doesn’t look at just your P&L for the last few years. It looks at what is generating your current value, and how much of that needs to be invested to maintain your future value. It looks at your focus, your resources, your unique skills and the industry forces. And importantly it does this in a dispassionate fashion.

When you start or buy a business, you need to dispassionately analyse the value now and into the future, based on your plans and skills. When you buy a business from someone, you need to look at the whole market, the sustainability of the position, your own strengths and opportunity costs, and the resources you have in cash flow.
